Endorsement

Ecclesiastical Endorsement
Ecclesiastical endorsement is verification by an Ecclesiastical Endorsing Organization that an authorized minister or practitioner is in good standing, has gained the necessary qualifying education and experience, as well as being willing and capable of working collegially in a religiously and culturally pluralistic setting without prejudice.
All Chaplains are under the autority of their respective communion, denomination or fellowship. CCC holds no episcopal  jurisdiction over it's chaplains, except for those who have joined as affiliates in  the Communion or Benedictine Chaplains.

For Associate members,  we do provide ecclisiastical endorsement along with your demonimation / communion.
As an endorsing body,  the  CCC   has the  responsibility for recruitment, endorsement, and support of clergy in extension ministries beyond local congregations. Clergy or commissioned individuals serve as chaplains and spiritual/pastoral counselors in many settings beyond church walls, including healthcare, criminal justice, military, first responder, higher and parochial education, corporate/industrial, social service providers, and others. CCC  provides support, advocacy, and accountability for our chaplains.
